Process

Our Process is Purposely Simple.

The central themes of our process are frequent delivery, ruthless testing, and plain dealing.

Short Iterations:
We work in short sprints focused on mutually agreed deliverables. At the end of each sprint, we provide you with a detailed account of the work we've done.
Testing:
We strive to write automated tests for all of the code we write. We think it's a key factor in delivering successful projects.
Continuous Integration:
We always have a working system, which enables frequent delivery and early course-correction.
Plain Dealing:
When it comes to talking about your project (or anything, really), we prefer to keep things simple and direct. You'll have a secure project website, but we're always available via phone, email, or whatever works best for you.

About Us

Austin is our home.

We’re a small company based in Austin, Texas. Founded by Robert Rasmussen in 2003, he and a small group of friends have been writing software for clients ever since. Our clients include The University of Texas at Austin, Spiceworks, and Texas Monthly, among others.

We work on projects we find fun and interesting, using the programming languages and tools we enjoy and that we use to build our own apps.

Where Does Our Name Come From?

Austin is home to 17 "moonlight towers", 100-year-old 165 foot street lights that each provide lighting for several blocks. We find the towers inspiring, since our goal is to create simple, elegant solutions that stand the test of time for our customers.
